The
Santa Cruz Coastal Rail Trail
An east-west corridor for non-motorized transport
For
the past few months the Hub has taken a lead role
in forming the friends of the rail trail group. The Hub's coordinator
for this project, Bill Le Bon, has worked with and organized local citizens,
businesses and transportation agencies to clear the way for this project's
success.
Friends of the Santa Cruz County Rail Trail meet the first Sunday of
each month at 6pm at the Hub.
To be on an e-mail list for The Friends group, go to http://www.scwalkandroll.com
and sign up to the discussion list. To post a message to the list you
need to sign up first.
The lead public agency for this project is the Santa Cruz Regional
Transportation Commission (SCCRTC). Get the fact about what they're
up to at: http://www.sccrtc.org/factsht.html.
