Donate to the Hub

As a state and Federal non-profit 501(c)(3), your donations to the Hub are tax deductible, and even more important than that, your donations are greatly needed and appreciated.

Cash

Currently, the Hub is staffed exclusively by vollunteers, from the Bike Church mechanics to the cleaning crew to the office workers. We are working on securing funding through grants and in-house revenue (ie: the Bike Church) to create a few paid staff positions. It is our goal to retain many of the community volunteer aspects of our organization, while creating a few staff positions to support those who remain committed over time to the success of the Hub and a viable and valuable community resource.

Our expenses are high relative to our lifestyles and extremely low relative to most other mainstream non-profit endeavors (that's not to say that we are by any means "mainstream"). At this point, our expenses consist of rent ($13,800.00/yr), property taxes ($600.00/yr), Utlities (~$2500.00), phones etc. (~$800.00/yr), insurance (~$200.00+/yr), and general office expenses (~$1000.00/yr). The Bike Church and Pedaler's Express (along with a few other organizations) are our primary sources of funding, and each year we just barely scrape by.

Your cash donations can either be earmarked for a specific Hub project of you choice or can contribute to the general Hub fund where it will be used to ease the stress when bills come due.

To make a donation or for more info., E-mail the Hub or call 831/425-0665.
